As part of the Capital Planning team, the Financial Analyst is responsible for overseeing financial tracking and management of capital expenditure initiatives. This role is vital for ensuring timely asset capitalization and adherence to SOX compliance standards. You will engage with various departments to facilitate projects from inception to completion, ensuring best practices and accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Asset Under Construction (AUC) processes
• Coordinate tasks to satisfy SOX compliance requirements
• Develop and deliver management reporting dashboards
• Track cash-out timing for CAPEX expenditures
• Execute financial modeling for CAPEX business cases
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Degree in Engineering or Commerce is ideal
• Proficient in SAP, Axiom, MS Suite, and Google Suite
• Background in larger construction, mining, or oil and gas companies
• Solid analytical and communication skills for team collaboration
