Become a Warehouse Operations Lead with TransAlta, located in Edmonton, Alberta. This is a full time, in office position focused on optimizing warehouse processes and material management.
In this senior role, you will report to the Gas Warehouse Manager and be responsible for several key functions, including issuing, receiving, and managing inventory within the warehouse. You will ensure safety protocols are followed, oversee material logistics, and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency at the Keephills Thermal Plant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inventory and daily warehouse task alignment
• Direct logistics and material movement coordination
• Conduct daily cycle counts for inventory accuracy




• Handle safety meetings and ensure compliance
• Ensure timely supply to support production schedules
Requirements:
• Preferred academic training in Warehouse Management
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office
• Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills
• Knowledge of safety standards and equipment operations
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
