Richmond School District is seeking a dedicated Carpenter at the Journeyperson level. You will engage in framing and structural tasks, install cabinetry, and respond to carpentry emergencies. Your skills in interpreting designs and executing repairs will directly impact our community-centered educational workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct and maintain current and renovated structures
• Perform structural and non-structural framing tasks
• Build and install millwork for offices and classrooms
• Read and interpret plans, drawings,
and specifications
• Provide technical expertise during carpentry emergencies
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent and TQ/Red Seal qualification
• Two years’ Journeyperson experience in commercial carpentry
• Thorough knowledge of carpentry methods and standards
• Ability to organize tasks and work independently
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
