Under the supervision of the Director of Lands and Resources, this position supports land administration by maintaining accurate records and aiding in land use planning. The selected candidate will play a key role in community inquiries, reinforcing responsible land stewardship and supporting local governance. Your organizational skills and effective communication will be essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in maintaining and updating land records
• Provide support for land use planning and administration
• Engage with community members to address inquiries
• Promote sustainable management of community lands
• Implement relevant legislation and land management practices
Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent is required
• Education in Land Management or related fields preferred
• Robust interest in community planning and land management
• Experience with GIS, GPS, and related tools is an asset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
