Join Facility Services as a Relief Groundsperson for 40 hours per week, responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of outdoor spaces. Your hands-on experience will play a vital role in ensuring grounds are secure and well-kept.
This full time position requires a dedicated individual to assist in the maintenance, repair, and improvement of facility grounds. You will operate various equipment, ensuring playground and playfield installations meet safety standards. This role also necessitates teamwork with employees and public interactions while performing outdoor maintenance duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate trucks and grounds maintenance equipment
• Install and maintain playground equipment safely




• Maintain turf grass and manage irrigation systems
• Collect litter and maintain clean outdoor spaces
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent qualifications
• At least two years of related experience
• Valid B.C. Class 5 Driver's License
• Familiarity with health and safety procedures
• Robust ability to work independently and as a team
