Stantec is looking for a Junior Environmental Scientist or EIT to join its Site Investigation, Remediation & Response team. You'll gain field experience across various sectors, including federal agencies and industrial developments, while supervised by intermediate and senior staff. Key Responsibilities:
• Support and implement Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments
• Conduct soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling
• Produce accurate field notes meeting data quality objectives
• Coordinate with subcontractors for field operations
• Assist with BC Contaminated Sites Regulation applications
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in BC
• Previous contaminated sites investigation experience is an asset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with subcontractors
• Eligibility for skilled designation preferred
