Join Turning Point Youth Services as a Youth Worker and make a difference in the lives of young people. This full time role provides direct client support in a structured live-in program setting.
As part of the Youth Justice Program, you will work in office in Toronto, focusing on creating therapeutic relationships and supporting youth aged 12 to 18. This position requires a commitment to promoting inclusion and equity while performing administrative duties and engaging with clients' mental health needs. The schedule rotates weekly between 50 and 30 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish therapeutic relationships with youth clients
• Oversee daily administrative tasks within required timelines
• Assist with meal preparation and life skills programming
• Supervise student placements as necessary
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Child and Youth Work, Social Work or similar
• At least one year of relevant live-in experience
• Proficiency in conflict resolution and communication
• Certification in First Aid/CPR and UMAB
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
