As a vital part of the National Design team, the EWP Designer/Estimator prepares qualified designs while engaging directly with clients, architects, and engineers. With a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, you’ll ensure every project is precise and compliant with building codes. Your technical skills and attention to detail will drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create accurate floor design drawings using design software
• Collaborate with architects and builders on design aspects
• Keep project files organized and job tracking systems updated




• Calculate structural member sizes accurately
• Offer technical assistance and customer support when needed
Requirements:
• 2+ years of design experience with blueprint interpretation
• Technical knowledge of engineered wood products
• Training as an Architectural Technologist or equivalent
• Familiarity with building codes and materials
• Strong communication skills in English; French is a plus
