Jardeg is currently recruiting forCrane Operators to work with Technical Workforce Inc. at theFish Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in Calgary, AB!
This position is a 5 days on and 2 days off schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends. At this time, only local candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain a variety of mobile cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials within manufacturer limits
Clean and lubricate cranes
Perform pre-operational inspection, and calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
Perform routine maintenance work
Set rebar cages into piles to prepare them for concrete
Follow all site specific lifting plans/procedures
Crane Operator Ticket is required
5 years’ related experience in construction setting
Experience working in a water infrastructure project is an asset
CSTS and/or WHMIS certifications
Must be able to operate 35 Ton cranes
Reliable transportation to get to work
