Join Apave Canada as a Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician, responsible for the upkeep and repair of turbine systems. This full time position involves critical safety measures and technical expertise in various settings.
With a history spanning back to 1953, Apave Canada is looking for skilled technicians to support our growing Wind Services Department. In this role, you’ll engage in turbine inspections, conduct fiberglass repairs, and work closely with our teams to resolve any technical challenges that arise. Safety and quality are pivotal in all tasks carried out.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and inspect wind turbine equipment
• Assist in the setup of turbine systems
• Work collaboratively with technical teams
• Update knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Conduct fiberglass repairs as necessary
Requirements:
• 1+ years of fiberglass repair experience
• Effective communication skills
• Valid driver's license for travel needs
• GWO certification considered an asset
• Comfort working at heights in diverse conditions
