We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel- and gas-powered generators and related systems. The ideal candidate brings hands-on mechanical experience with heavy equipment and a solid understanding of power generation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic tests, preventative maintenance, and repairs on diesel and gas engines
- Complete routine inspections/services and accurately document findings




- Respond to field service calls
- Routine equipment repair
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Journeyman Heavy-Duty Mechanic or Registered Heavy-Duty Mechanic Apprentice preferred; willing to train candidate who has a strong interest in pursuing a career in the mechanical trade.
- Strong knowledge of electrical diagnostics and load testing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Must live within commuting distance
- Safety certifications/tickets are considered an asset
