The Cleaner position at the YMCA focuses on maintaining cleanliness and safety in all areas of the facility. You will execute general cleaning tasks, manage laundry operations, and ensure that all equipment remains in working condition. This regular salaried position works 37.5 hours per week and contributes to the mission of the YMCA in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform light duty and general cleaning tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of fitness equipment and locker areas
• Execute laundry duties,



including folding and replenishing towels
• Follow Workplace Health and Safety practices
• Offer high-quality customer service to all participants
Requirements:
• Experience in cleaning within commercial establishments
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work physically and flexibly
• Commitment to YMCA values and mission
• WHIMIS training is advantageous
