Schedule

Part‑time evening shifts and rotating one weekend out of seven

Salary

$30 to $42/hour, plus a $2/hour evening shift premium

Role

As a medical technologist, you will play a vital role in the processing and analysis of samples, while contributing to operational efficiency and the quality of results delivered to patients and healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities
Receive samples at the laboratory
Create computer queries
Perform certain laboratory analyses (CFS, PT, PTT, PCR, SEDI, etc.)
Inoculate microbiology samples
Perform manual antibiograms
Verify data entry in Unity Real Time
Scan laboratory requisitions

Requirements
Hold a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Biomedical Analysis Technology from a school recognized by the Ministry of Education, Recreation and Sports.
Membership in the Professional Order of Medical Technologists of Quebec is an asset.
Experience in microbiology is an asset.

Working Conditions
