AgeCare is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide nursing care in accordance with skilled standards and policies. You'll collaborate closely with Registered Nurses and communicate vital information to physicians, ensuring residents receive comprehensive care. Your expertise in geriatric nursing and relevant regulations will guide your contributions to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement AgeCare policies alongside Registered Nurses
• Communicate resident status to physicians and health care team




• Ensure care needs are met by the nursing team
• Direct Personal Support Workers on care practices
• Participate in shift report for informed team decisions
Requirements:
• Knowledge in rehabilitation or long-term care nursing
• Understanding of various healthcare acts and regulations
• Current Certificate of Competence in Ontario
• Member in positive standing with the College of Nurses
• Experience in geriatric care preferred
