Become a vital part of client care at the Phoenix Center as an On-Call Program Assistant. Your role will encompass supporting clients through emotional, physical, and social assistance.
This casual position reports to the Program Manager and focuses on empowering clients with life skills such as housekeeping, meal preparation, and social interaction. You'll work one-on-one with clients, assist with medication management, and ensure an organized, secure setting while engaging in recreational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with daily activities and life skills
• Provide medication reminders according to policies
• Facilitate and oversee social activities for clients
• Identify community resources for client support
• Maintain proper records and documentation
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12
• Community Social Service certificate required
• One year of experience in social services
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Successful completion of a criminal records check
