Canada Post is looking for on-call delivery agents to handle significant deliveries to customers. This role requires a valid driver's license, physical stamina for lifting packages, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. You will start your day sorting in the depot before hitting the streets to ensure timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and prepare daily mail and packages in depot
• Drive a Canada Post postal vehicle safely
• Deliver items on foot and by vehicle to customer routes
• Unload incoming mail and packages upon return to depot
• Maintain a high standard of service throughout deliveries
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license for 3+ years
• Ability to lift up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) regularly
• Capable of working in all weather
• On-call availability required
• Proficient in English and/or French
