This is a permanent part time position, working 45 hours biweekly at the Halifax Infirmary. You will apply your skills to assist in managing patients' respiratory needs, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare experts. Passionate about patient education, you will enhance your practice while contributing to Nova Scotia's diverse healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct diagnosis and assessment of respiratory patients
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals on treatment plans




• Educate patients and families on respiratory care
• Provide therapeutic modalities for cardiorespiratory disorders
• Participate in on-call duties as required
Requirements:
• Completed accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Registered with Nova Scotia Regulator of Respiratory Therapy
• One year of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Certified in BCLS and ACLS
• Effective communication skills in English; French preferred
