Become a vital part of the YMCA team as a full time School Age Coordinator in Wasaga Beach. You'll engage children in play-based learning while ensuring their safety and well-being in this nurturing setting.
In this temporary role, set to last from September 2026 to August 30, 2027, you will oversee personal care and daily activities for up to 15 children. Your responsibilities will include implementing YMCA curriculum, maintaining communication with families, and creating inclusive environments for all children. The role seeks an individual passionate about child development and community connection.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care and address children's medical needs
• Ensure supervision and safety in group settings
• Plan and implement play-based learning activities




• Maintain positive communication with families and staff
• Support children with exceptional behaviours and additional needs
Requirements:
• Minimum 18 years old
• Standard/Intermediate First Aid and CPR certification
• Availability Monday to Friday, 6:45am-9:30am & 3:15pm-6:00pm
• Registered Early Childhood Educator or related qualifications
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg and work outdoors
