Become part of NAIT’s Culinary Arts team as a Procurement Clerk. This casual role supports food delivery and inventory management, while adhering to strict food safety standards.
As a Procurement Clerk, you will report to the Procurement Coordinator, handling the incoming and outgoing food products essential for Culinary Arts and Skilled Food Studies. This role involves interacting with instructors and lab technologists, ensuring effective communication during product delivery, and maintaining accurate records for inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and verify food products against orders and invoices
• Document and report product quality and discrepancies promptly
• Perform routine storage and shipping tasks in stock areas




• Ensure strict adherence to food safety and handling standards
• Maintain cleanliness in receiving and storage areas
Requirements:
• Completion of grade 10 with relevant experience preferred
• Valid Food Handling Certificate and knowledge of safety standards
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate a pallet jack
• Valuable communication and problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Office knowledge at a beginner to intermediate level
