Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Service Advisor at our Timmins location. This is a permanent full time position. The shift is Monday to Friday 9:00AM to 6:00PM.

Reporting to the Service Manager this position is responsible for scheduling service repair work in a busy service department and following the progress of repairs throughout the date.

Responsibilities :
Provides customers with complete and accurate written cost estimates, establishing time required to complete work.
Obtains customer signature on repair orders.




Establishes customer method of payment.
Notifies dispatcher of incoming work.
Checks on progress of repairs and contacts customers regarding changes in estimate or promised time.
Review and closes repair orders.
Explains completed work and all charges to customers.

Requirements :
Completion of Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in Heavy Truck or Automotive Industry is preferred/asset.
Valid Class G Driver’s license
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills – ADP/CDK experience is an asset.
