Wood's Homes is seeking a Senior Youth & Family Counsellor for an 8-month term to serve children, youth, and families. This position involves rotating shifts and cooperative team meetings contributing to individual personal and social functioning. The counsellor will engage in comprehensive case management tasks, ensuring a nurturing workplace for development and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain structured program settings
• Attend case conferences and intervention strategy meetings
• Maintain program living space and ensure compliance
• Conduct meal preparation and provide transportation
• Lead therapeutic milieu operations for clients
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Social Sciences or related field
• Four years of experience in residential settings
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Non-GDL class 5 driver’s license and transportation
