Reporting to the Senior Planning Engineer, this role demands expertise in transmission studies that ensure an productive and reliable electrical network. You will also develop expansion plans to support future loads while engaging with customers to facilitate technical information and resolve complex interconnection issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform customer load interconnection and system studies
• Initiate assessments to determine system adequacy




• Create detailed infrastructure expansion plans
• Prepare study reports for budgetary funding approvals
• Investigate transmission reliability and recommend improvements
Requirements:
• Graduate in Electrical Engineering with at least six years' experience
• Registered with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba or eligible
• Proficient in load flow and power system analysis
• Solid communication skills for collaboration
• Experience with modelling software like PSS/E and PSCAD
