In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering comprehensive geotechnical investigations that ensure safety and sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background, interpret complex data, and guide teams of junior engineers. Manage project scales while contributing to the success of resource development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough geotechnical investigations for water and tailings projects
• Produce high-quality technical reports influencing key decisions
• Manage projects ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers
• Perform advanced analyses for dam and slope designs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering
• Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or an eligibility
• 10+ years of engineering experience in geotechnics
• Experience with engineering modeling tools required
• Valid Alberta driver’s license and willingness for fieldwork
