This role supports the DVM program through direct care of teaching and patient animals. Reporting to the Academic Skills Coordinator, you will assist in laboratory setups, ensure animal welfare, and maintain sanitation standards in a clinical environment. Flexibility in your work schedule is essential as you'll support various teaching activities in the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC).
Key Responsibilities:
• Book and handle companion animals for teaching
• Sanitize various teaching spaces and equipment accurately
• Support setup and cleaning in laboratory areas




• Observe animal behavior and relay health changes
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records of care
Requirements:
• Completion of a 2-year Animal Care program plus relevant experience
• Familiarity with animal behavior and handling protocols
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules
• Required proof of rabies immunization
