Davey Tree Expert Co. is searching for an Arborist Climber in Carp, Ontario. Embrace your passion for tree management and work directly with the public while managing vegetation in the field.
This year-round position requires hands-on tree care and involves a variety of responsibilities such as pruning and installing safety systems in tree canopies. With a minimum of one year of climbing experience, you will support your team by operating necessary tools and ensuring job site safety. Your expertise will help maintain the aesthetics and health of trees and shrubs in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prune, thin, and remove deadwood from trees
• Install cables and bracing to support trees
• Maintain and prepare all climbing and cutting equipment




• Assist with job setup and cleanup on site
• Follow safety policies and guidelines strictly
Requirements:
• One year of climbing experience necessary
• Certified Arborist or training towards that designation
• Solid identification skills for trees and knots
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs, with valid driver’s license
• Experience in Forestry, Horticulture, or Landscaping preferred
