The Canadian Union of Skilled Workers is looking for Red Seal Powerline Technicians for Hydro One Networks in Ontario. Work within a supportive, family-oriented culture focused on safety.
Multiple positions are available including Journeypersons, Sub Forepersons, and Forepersons. The role reports on the planning and execution of Transmission Line projects in Eastern and Central Ontario. Candidates will engage in diverse tasks from installation to maintenance of the Bulk Electrical System to ensure reliable power supply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Transmission Line construction and maintenance tasks
• Plan and schedule resources for projects
• Perform tower assembly and erection tasks
• Manage insulator and pole replacement
• Install OPGW and conduct utility work activities
Requirements:
• Valid G License required
• Red Seal Certification as a Powerline Technician
• Experience in Transmission preferred
• Solid team communication skills essential
• Ability to lift and work in challenging weather
