Become a vital part of the Pre-Primary Program as a Term Early Childhood Educator in Nova Scotia. Work closely with the Lead Educator to foster a nurturing learning setting.
Operating from August 27, 2026, to June 29, 2027, this role supports the implementation of the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum Framework. You will be instrumental in engaging children in their learning journey while building solid connections with families and community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate an inclusive, active learning atmosphere
• Support daily routines alongside the Lead ECE
• Assess children's learning and adjust practices accordingly
• Provide a curriculum responsive to children’s needs
• Maintain communication with families and community
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Expertise in child-centered pedagogy and practices
• Proven experience in early childhood settings
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid first aid certification and relevant experience preferred
