Become a vital part of Turning Point Youth Services as an Intensive Youth Worker. Your role will involve supporting youth dealing with complex mental health challenges in a home setting.
In this contract position, you will work closely with youth aged 12 to 17, helping them and their families navigate significant behavioral and mental health issues. The successful candidate will be experienced in family dynamics, goal-driven case management, and utilizing trauma-informed approaches to facilitate growth and resilience. Close collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team will be essential in developing comprehensive support plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide intensive support within clients' homes
• Conduct assessments of client needs




• Collaborate on interdisciplinary treatment plans
• Facilitate community engagement prospects
• Maintain organized case documentation and reporting
Requirements:
• Degree in Child & Youth Work or Social Work
• At least 5 years in youth-focused roles
• Evidence-based intervention experience with youth
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Knowledge of mental health issues and youth engagement strategies
Lead transformational change for youth and their families through targeted in-home support.
