This full time, permanent position involves managing the end-to-end payroll operations under the guidance of the Total Compensation Manager. You will utilize your extensive experience in payroll and pension administration to analyze complex payroll inquiries and oversee compliance with federal and provincial legislation. Your role will also involve enhancing payroll processes and ensuring effective data management within Workday HCM.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct monthly payroll processing and mid-month advances
• Maintain and administer payroll data in Workday HCM




• Reconcile salary and perks expense accounts
• Analyze payroll audits and implement improvements
• Partner with pension plans to manage employee contributions
Requirements:
• Certification: Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP)
• 5–7 years in a progressive payroll role
• Expertise in Canadian payroll laws
• Proficiency with Workday HCM preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
