In this critical role, you will operate locomotives, control train movements, and ensure compliance with train signals and procedures. This position features a variety of shifts, requiring flexibility and adaptability in outdoor conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect locomotives and prepare for operation
• Interpret train signals and enforce safety regulations
• Operate rail switches and trackside equipment
• Manage report on operational delays and incidents
• Support the training of current employees
Requirements:
• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent
• Dependable with transportation to work
• Solid communication and teamwork abilities
• Able to work in diverse weather conditions
