Extendicare Red River Place Home in Selkirk, MB is looking for a part time Occupational Therapist. Deliver exceptional rehabilitation services while fostering a healthy setting for residents and staff.
Working under the Administrator, you will collaborate with the Team Leader(s) and Director of Care on resident therapy planning and program implementation. Your efforts will focus on evaluating and enhancing rehabilitation approaches and ensuring compliance with safety initiatives for optimal resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement occupational rehabilitation strategies
• Assess residents to develop personalized therapy plans
• Recommend adaptive equipment solutions for residents




• Conduct treatments addressing cognitive and perceptual challenges
• Participate in safety and operational improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Registration with ACOT and CAOT required or eligible
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Solid team-oriented attitude with effective communication skills
