In this role, reporting to the Divisional Business Manager, you will provide vital assistance in vocational trades education. Your tasks will involve monitoring activities for safety in the shop, preparing necessary materials, and maintaining tools and equipment. Your experience will ensure a supportive atmosphere for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide demonstrations and support to students in design
• Ensure safety protocols are followed in the workshop
• Maintain and repair tools and equipment regularly
• Prepare learning materials for the faculty
• Monitor student progress in shop settings
Requirements:
• Completion of a vocational trades program plus five years’ experience
• Experience in shop safety and monitoring
• Solid knowledge of WHMIS and WCB regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications
• Ability to manage multitasking and client interactions
