Join UBC as an Overnight Mobile Unit Representative and ensure resident safety between 11 PM and 7 AM. Monitor campus grounds, triage incidents, and support your community's needs.
The Overnight Mobile Unit Representative takes a proactive approach to address resident concerns. Working a Tuesday to Saturday schedule, you will respond to emergencies and routine problems while collaborating with Campus Security. We seek candidates with a dedication to equity and diversity principles in handling sensitive situations and emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the first point of contact for residents
• Attend and assess emergencies and incidents promptly
• Conduct property patrols and ensure safety compliance
• Manage documentation and report writing effectively
• Assist residents with access issues and other needs
Requirements:
• Completion of high school and one year post-secondary education
• At least three years of customer service experience
• Valid driver’s license in British Columbia
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• Capability to work outdoors under various conditions
