Join the Blue River team as a full time Dispatch Operator, where you’ll manage essential communications during skiing operations in beautiful BC. This role focuses on coordinating between helicopters, guides, and clients.
Reporting to the Ski Operations Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include managing radio communications, logging ski and flying activity, and assisting with emergency protocols. Being organized and adaptable will be critical in this seasonal position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transmit and document all radio communications
• Track helicopters and ski guides using computer systems
• Keep accurate daily logs of activities
• Implement emergency response as required
• Work independently while supporting team efforts
Requirements:
• Robust interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
• General office experience is essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and general computer systems
• Detail-oriented with fluent English skills
