The Beauty Advisor develops long-lasting relationships with customers to drive sales, service and loyalty within a luxury retail setting. This commission-based role is directly tied to individual sales results and requires expert product knowledge and clienteling. The advisor supports brand and store objectives through personalized service and in-store initiatives.
Responsibilities
Deliver extraordinary customer service and exceed personal and brand sales targets
Build and maintain a loyal personal client base through acquisition, development, and retention
Share expert product knowledge and participate in vendor and store training sessions
Support brand sales via event execution, marketing opportunities, and assortment feedback
Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and other sales support tasks
Communicate with clients via phone,
mail, and electronic methods for follow-up and events
Resolve customer service issues and escalate to selling management when necessary
Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures
Requirements
High school diploma
Minimum of two years experience in a commission-based sales environment
Prior luxury retail sales experience preferred
Make-up artistry or aesthetics certificate may be required for certain brands
Able to work a versatile schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Highly collaborative, able to multitask in a rapid-paced environment with minimal supervision
