Support the learning journey of students at Southpointe Academy as an Inclusive Education Assistant. This part time role focuses on providing individualized support for students with diverse educational needs.
As the Inclusive Education Assistant, you will work closely with both students and classroom teachers to create and implement tailored educational strategies. Your role involves applying behavioral support techniques, fostering communication skills, and ensuring a conducive learning workplace that aligns with the values of our International Baccalaureate curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work directly with students in both classroom and one-on-one settings
• Assist with curriculum adaptations to meet individual learning needs




• Contribute to the development of behavior management programs
• Keep detailed records of each student's progress
• Supervise students during various school activities
Requirements:
• Successful completion of an Educational Assistant program
• Solid skills in communication and organization
• Flexibility in adapting to students' behavioral responses
• Competence in operating school equipment tailored for diverse needs
• Experience in an IB environment is a plus
