Working at the PARC Drop-In Program, you will engage with psychiatric survivors and those who are socially isolated. Your background in community mental health and hands-on experience will be pivotal in ensuring a protected and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct personal support and crisis intervention for members
• Lead small group activities and recreational programs
• Maintain safety and uphold a welcoming atmosphere
• Support community resource development initiatives
• Advocate for members' needs and systemic navigation
Requirements:
• 3+ years direct experience in community mental health settings
• Relevant post-secondary education or specialized training
• Deep understanding of issues faced by marginalized populations
• Robust communication, writing, and organizational skills
• Experience working in high-stress settings
