Join the City of Maple Ridge as a Facilities Project Coordinator, where you will manage municipal projects with a focus on technical and administrative support. This full time role combines office work, field inspections, and project management to enhance community facilities.
In this regular full time position, you'll coordinate small to mid-sized facilities projects while providing assistance on larger initiatives. Your responsibilities will include developing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and conducting site inspections. Collaborating with staff, contractors, and consultants, you will ensure project completion aligns with municipal standards and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the planning and delivery of municipal projects
• Monitor project progress, costs, and documentation
• Collaborate with various partners to resolve issues
• Conduct site inspections and maintain project documentation
• Review invoices, change orders, and support contract administration
Requirements:
• Diploma in civil engineering or related field
• Class 5 Driver’s License valid in British Columbia
• Knowledge of construction methods and contract law
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Ability to obtain RCMP security clearance
