Contribute to the vibrant community of Musqueam as the Coordinator for Elders' Activities. Organize engaging programs that promote wellness and cultural connection.
In this role, you will lead various recreational, social, and educational activities tailored for the Elder community, enhancing their connection and participation. You will coordinate programs under the guidance of the Elders’ Program Supervisor while fostering relationships that encourage cultural engagement. Your focus will be on creating an inclusive setting that meets the diverse needs of participants through thoughtful planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver inclusive programs for Elders
• Assist the Elders’ Program Supervisor in program management




• Engage with Elders through home visits and activities
• Facilitate weekly lunches and community events
• Handle administrative duties, including data entry
Requirements:
• Relevant education or experience in community services
• Familiarity with Musqueam culture and history
• Completion or willingness for Trauma Informed Training
• Food Secure Certification or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver's license and access to transportation
