As a Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC), you will be an integral part of the ParaMed nursing team. This role offers you the chance to deliver direct care while educating peers and patients on best practices. You will also have the unique prospect to develop long-term therapeutic relationships, enhancing care quality and continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide wound, ostomy, and continence assessments and management
• Educate nursing teams, patients, and families about specialized care
• Consult with team members for clinical support (direct or remote)




• Engage in clinical leadership and training opportunities
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
• NSWOC certification required
• 2+ years as a Registered Nurse preferred
• Experience in community nursing or specialized care
• Current registration with Wound Ostomy and Continence Canada preferred
• International Interprofessional Wound Care Course may be considered
