At our 66-bed long-term care facility, the Activity Worker plans, develops, and implements individualized and group activities for residents. You will assess residents’ needs and maintain records while fostering a sense of community. Your role includes engaging directly with residents and promoting their interests during various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan group and individual activities based on resident preferences
• Conduct assessments and maintain detailed records
• Coordinate volunteers effectively for program support




• Ensure supplies and equipment are maintained properly
• Foster positive relationships with residents and staff
Requirements:
• Therapeutic Recreation diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year in therapeutic program development
• Dementia Care education program completion preferred
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and flexibly
