Responsibilities
Perform Mig and Tig on welding steel and aluminum sign components
Fabricate sign structures according to blueprint drawings
Cut and fit material using saws, shears, brakes, and other shop equipment
Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
Maintain a clean and secure work setting
Measure, cut, grind, tack weld, and weld steel components
Applicant must be physically fit as this position requires dexterity and a lot of standing, bending, and lifting
Compensation
Compensation can be based on related skills and experience. $23.70 up to $24.70 plus .25 premium per hour for a valid welding certificate.
Qualifications
Valid certification in 47.1 and 47.2
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
