Columbia Basin Trust is searching for an Occupational Health and Safety Lead to manage the Setting, Health and Safety Management System. You will spearhead safety training, incident investigations, and compliance checks while fostering a culture of safety within the Power Operations Department. This full time position offers a supportive team atmosphere in the scenic West Kootenay region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance the EHS Management System
• Lead safety inspections and incident investigations
• Provide field support and training to staff
• Develop safety protocols and hazard analyses
• Track KPIs and promote continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety
• 5 years of OHS experience in related environments
• Skilled OHS certification (CRSP or ROH)
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence
• Occupational First Aid Level 3 is an asset
