In this one-year temporary contract, you'll assist in shipping and receiving operations while maintaining compliance with company safety standards. This role involves using manual skills and may require lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted. Your attention to detail and efficiency in processing tasks will enhance operations at Stella-Jones.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Strap and tally lumber, composite, and poles
• Maintain housekeeping in all assigned areas
• Complete forms legibly and process paperwork
• Report Health & Safety issues promptly
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods
• Valuable manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Basic math skills essential for this role
• Forklift experience is beneficial but not mandatory
