Job Description

IKO Industries Ltd., part of the IKO Group of Companies, is seeking an HSE Engineering Co‑Op (8‑ or 12‑month contract) to join our team in Milton, Ontario. The position starts Fall2026.

Responsibilities
Work with Plant Maintenance team (Managers, Supervisors, Millwrights, Electricians, etc.) to create SOPs and SWIs.
Shadow Maintenance Manager to develop SOPs and SWIs.
Assist Reliability Engineer with review of all current PM and PdM activities, refining tasks as needed.
Perform spare parts optimization for highly critical assets.
Prepare drawings and modeling for projects.
Work with Millwrights and Electricians to transfer required information to standard PM templates and update drawings.
Work on other engineering related projects to support plant operations and maintenance.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Committed to health and safety of employees, contractors and visitors.




Current enrolment in a post‑secondary engineering program (new graduates welcomed).
Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Prefer experience with CMMS such as Maximo.
Ability to read and interpret drawings; AutoCAD proficiency is an asset.
Critical thinking and strong organizational skills.
Troubleshooting capability is an asset.

Hours and Compensation

Hours of work: Monday through Friday, 40hours per week, day shift. Wage: $23.50 – $26.50 per hour.
