Prospect

PICTON Investments is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Product Management team and take ownership of product strategy and execution across a portfolio of complex, high‑priority initiatives. In this role, you will independently drive product positioning, lead cross‑functional coordination, and serve as a senior point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, contributing immediately with minimal ramp‑up time.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000, with final base salary determined based on experience, skills, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for variable compensation.

At PICTON Investments, the compensation package includes an equity ownership program, profit sharing, health and wellness coverage, life and disability insurance, paid time off and holidays, learning and development programs, and more.

Product Strategy & Sales Support

- Support internal stakeholders in developing and maintaining product positioning, pitchbooks, and sales tools.
- Own and drive product management strategies end‑to‑end, ensuring advisors and clients have clear, compelling, and actionable materials that support asset growth and retention.
- Create portfolio manager decks, custom presentations, and other collateral to support business goals.
- Conduct research for competitive intelligence on key competitors and analyze industry trends to provide timely insights.
- Support the marketing team in creating marketing content and developing content for new initiatives or product launches.
- Independently lead and project‑manage key strategic initiatives across new initiatives and new product launch workstreams, coordinating across Product, Sales, Marketing, Legal/Compliance, and Investment Management.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the product suite, improve existing processes,

and propose new initiatives based on market intelligence and internal needs without requiring direction.

Reporting & Material Management

- Own the monthly product report card process and all recurring deliverables, continuously improving quality and identifying opportunities to enhance their strategic value.
- Ensure all client‑facing materials are accurate, up‑to‑date, and consistent.

Data Accuracy & Platforms

- Support data inputs, validation, and distribution across third‑party databases.
- Align external data with internal records and strategy.

Business Partner

- Serve as an independent and credible voice of the client and advisor in internal discussions, shaping product strategy and prioritization with conviction.
- Build deep understanding of our investment philosophy, process, and performance drivers.
- Analyze and communicate performance and attribution trends clearly.
- Lead cross‑functional coordination across the firm — managing stakeholder expectations, resolving competing priorities, and driving timely execution independently.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a high‑performing Product function as the team scales.

What we’re looking for

- 4–6 years of experience in financial services, ideally in product, operations, or client management.
- Post‑secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Bilingual in English and French is a strong asset.
- Proven track record of building trusted relationships in B2B or advisor‑facing environments.
- CFA charterholder or advanced progress toward CFA or CAIA designation strongly preferred.

- Solid understanding of advisor distribution channels, including institutional, retail, and independent.
- Experience coordinating marketing campaigns and events with strategic intent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior internal and external stakeholders independently — including Sales, Legal/Compliance, and Investment Management — with confidence, influence, and sound judgment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for continuous learning, particularly in alternative investments.
- Track record of self‑initiating projects, managing competing priorities across multiple workstreams, and delivering results in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with minimal supervision.
