Role: Senior Product Manager (0→1 AI Product)

Location: Remote (Canada preferred)

Contract Role

About Oasis

Oasis is building the AI infrastructure for enterprise knowledge governance. We work with Fortune 500 organizations and are backed by leading investors and accelerators. We're looking for an exceptional Product Manager to help build the next generation of enterprise AI.

About the Role

This is a true 0→1 product role.

You won't be optimizing existing features—you'll help define what we build, why we build it, and how it creates value for enterprise customers. We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys speaking directly with customers, and can turn complex problems into simple, intuitive products. You'll work closely with the CEO, engineering, design, and enterprise customers to shape the product from its earliest stages.

What You're Trying to Achieve

In your first year, your mandate is to take our enterprise knowledge governance product from early traction to a repeatable, category-defining wedge. Concretely, that means:

- Identify and validate the highest-value use cases through discovery with Fortune 500 organizations, and turn them into a focused product roadmap we can win on.
- Turn discovery insights into our first pilots, and lay the groundwork to convert those into paying, expanding customers.
- Build the product intuition and evidence base, through direct discovery with prospective users, that tells us what to build next and what to ignore.
- Establish the lightweight product operating system (discovery, prioritization, specs, metrics) that lets the team keep shipping fast as we scale.

Success looks like a product that customers pull rather than one we push with a clear signal that we've found product-market fit in a specific, defensible segment.

What You'll Do

- Own product strategy and execution from discovery through launch.

- Conduct customer discovery with Fortune 500 customers and translate insights into product decisions.
- Define product requirements, prioritize the roadmap, and write clear product specifications.
- Partner daily with engineering to ship quickly and iterate based on customer feedback.
- Validate hypotheses before development through interviews, prototypes, and experiments.
- Work directly with customers during pilots to identify opportunities and remove friction.
- Define success metrics and measure product adoption and customer value.
- Help establish product processes as the company scales.

How You'll Work & Who You'll Work With

We're a small, quick-moving team, and this role sits at the center of it. You'll operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership. We'll give you the problem and the context, and trust you to figure out the path.

- Who you’ll work with: You’ll partner daily with engineering and design, and work directly with the CEO on strategy and prioritization. Externally, you’ll be running discovery conversations with prospective buyers, product champions, and end users at Fortune 500 organizations.
- How we work: Fully remote and async-friendly, with a bias toward shipping over process. Expect short feedback loops (discovery, prototype, ship, learn) rather than long planning cycles. Decisions are made quickly and with incomplete information; we value good judgment over perfect data.
- What you’ll have access to: Direct,

unfiltered access to the prospects and discovery conversations shaping the product, a talented engineering and design team, the CEO and leadership as close collaborators, and the freedom to define the tools, processes, and roadmap you think will work. You won’t be waiting on layers of approval to talk to a prospect or test an idea.
- What we won’t give you: A detailed playbook. This role is for someone energized by defining it themselves.

What We're Looking For

- 7+ years of Product Management experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience building 0→1 products at an early-stage startup.
- Strong customer discovery skills with a passion for understanding user problems.
- Comfortable making decisions with limited data and navigating ambiguity.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams and technical products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly proactive and entrepreneurial—you identify problems before being asked.
- Experience with AI, LLMs, enterprise software, SaaS, or developer tools is a strong asset.

Bonus Points

- Built enterprise AI products.
- Experience working with Fortune 500 customers.
- Technical background or ability to understand AI architectures and APIs.
- Experience with knowledge management, enterprise search, content governance, or workflow automation.

You'll Thrive Here If You...

- Love building products from scratch.
- Prefer talking to customers over debating in meetings.
- Move quickly and iterate constantly.
- Are comfortable wearing multiple hats.
- Care deeply about solving real customer problems rather than shipping features.
- Want to help define the future of enterprise AI.
- If you're excited about building category-defining AI products and shaping the future of knowledge governance, we'd love to hear from you.
