About The Job

Provides nursing care to OR patients, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team

Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers

Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice

Maintains and advances own clinical competence

Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned

This is a casual chance. Casual employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0‑37.5 hours per week on an as‑needed basis.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days,



evenings and nights rotating from 07:00 to 15:00, 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 08:30 to 16:30 hours.

The Cariboo Memorial Hospital & Health Centre is a Level 2 Community Hospital in Williams Lake.

The hospital embodies a resident‑centered philosophy designed to support residents’ choices, help people function at their highest level, and provide the best quality of life possible.

With 28 inpatient beds, the hospital offers an emergency room, an intensive care unit, operating rooms, and medical‑surgical and obstetrical units. Lab and diagnostic imaging and outpatient hemodialysis units are operated on site. Residential beds are embedded within medical‑surgical unit on second floor of the hospital.
