WSP's Rail & Transit department is looking for an Intermediate Signaling Engineer to take on critical responsibilities. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse team and lead efforts in rail signaling solutions. This includes developing engineering plans, performing technical analyses, and engaging with clients to solve complex issues. Your experience will help foster quality and safety in rail systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee development and technical analysis of signaling systems
• Prepare drawings, design packages, and procurement documentation
• Validate engineering designs through quality checks
• Create compliant signaling schemes guided by industry standards
• Provide explicit communication to clients about technical matters
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible for EIT
• 5+ years in Rail Systems Engineering or similar fields
• Strong background in conventional signaling methodologies
• Familiarity with relevant rail codes and standards
