As a Safety Coordinator, you will lead initiatives related to our Occupational Health & Safety Management System. Your role will involve collaborating with management on safety policy implementation and conducting internal audits. Ensuring compliance with WorkSafe BC Regulations and our Quality Management System will be crucial for your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead reviews of Health & Safety Management System documentation
• Interact with management for safety policy compliance
• Maintain accuracy of safety document control directory
• Guide the COR audit program implementation
• Generate safety reports and statistics for management review
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education, safety management experience preferred
• Auditor experience with BCCSA or ISO certification preferred
• Communication skills and independent work ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Valid BC Driver’s License and positive driving record
